Frequently Asked Questions
Questions about writing, privacy, and subscriptions.
Writing and privacy
Where should I begin?
Start with Getting started with Vellumora. For a specific task, read Writing a useful AI prompt.
Can AI make mistakes?
Yes. Check factual claims, sources, permissions, and suitability before relying on an output. See Reviewing an AI-assisted draft and the Copyright Policy.
Who can see my writing?
Drafts require account access by default. Requested AI actions send the relevant prompt, writing, and selected sources to third-party services. Their processing and retention terms depend on the provider and configuration. Creating a public link makes its published content accessible to anyone with the link. Read Sharing a document responsibly and the Privacy Policy.
Subscriptions and credits
How do credits work?
AI actions consume credits according to the work requested. Included paid-plan credits follow the monthly period recorded for your account in UTC and do not roll over. Annual billing does not release a full year's monthly allowance at once. Where offered, purchased additional credits are used after included credits and do not expire. See the Subscription Agreement.
Does choosing a plan authorize recurring billing?
No. Only an order that clearly states recurring billing and is accepted by you authorizes renewal on those terms. Review the price, currency, period, and any applicable taxes before accepting an order.
How do cancellation and refunds work?
Use the available billing controls or contact [email protected] to stop the next authorized renewal. Cancellation alone is not a refund request. You may request a full refund of your first paid subscription purchase within thirty days of the first successful payment. Renewals, subsequent paid-plan upgrades or changes, and additional credits are outside this guarantee; mandatory legal rights take priority. Review the Refund Policy and Subscription Agreement.
